Timothy Park
Tim is an occupational therapist from Toronto, Canada, with over seven years of experience specializing in assistive technology and occupational rehabilitation. Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for his patients, always looking for new ways to improve their quality of life.
While working at West Park Health Care Centre, Tim took the initiative to launch a gaming program that helped patients reconnect with their favorite games. His work bridged the gap between therapy and play, making gaming accessible and meaningful for those with physical challenges.
Now, Tim is working to connect a broader audience of gamers with the games they love. Drawing from his clinical experience, he hopes to inspire more people to see gaming not just as entertainment—but as a powerful tool for connection, expression, and healing.
Benjamin Kerr
Ben is a Game Designer with four years of game development experience. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Game Design program, he has contributed to a variety of indie projects—both solo and collaborative. In his first year of college, he released Snow Trail, a 2D puzzle game that gave him firsthand insight into the realities of development: timelines, creative hurdles, and everything in between.
Ben’s journey into adaptive gaming began after graduation, when he volunteered at West Park’s adaptive gaming program—where he also met Tim! Over time, he became more involved, helping patients set up games and exploring titles that could work for a wide range of abilities. Through that experience, Ben saw the profound value of accessibility in games and recognized the need for more thoughtful systems across the industry.
He believes games should be approachable for everyone—because a game’s magic isn’t always obvious at first glance, but with the right support, anyone can experience it.
